    LOVE

The ZELUS weighted vest is a solid addition to any workout routine, whether you’re walking, running, or doing strength training. It feels well-balanced when worn, and the weight is distributed evenly so it doesn’t feel awkward or shift too much during movement. The material is durable and holds up well during regular use, and the adjustable straps make it easy to get a secure, comfortable fit for different body types. I also like the reflective stripe—it’s a great safety feature for outdoor workouts, especially in low light. It adds just the right amount of resistance without feeling overly bulky, which makes it great for increasing workout intensity gradually. The vest stays in place pretty well once adjusted, and it doesn’t restrict movement too much.Overall, this is a practical and effective weighted vest that’s comfortable enough for consistent use. A great option for anyone looking to level up their cardio or strength training.

    Worth it

I love wearing this on runs or just going out for a hike. Long or short it’s very comfortable and not as bulky as I expected. The weight distribution is pretty good I don’t feel uneven at all and it’s very versatile (I mean I got black and that goes with just about anything) I do really love the little ring loops on the front so I can clip my keys and pepper spray right to me within reach. The pocket is also another thing I love carries some other goodies 🙂 overall I recommend but it does hold some smell after a few uses, so it’ll definitely need a wash eventually, but I suppose that’s to be expected 😂

    Good, but quirky to me

Good quality, feels like the weight is not evenly distributed, feels a bit too heavy and rear loaded

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Transformative Workout Tool — Balanced, Comfortable, and Surprisingly Versatile

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Transformative Workout Tool — Balanced, Comfortable, and Surprisingly VersatileAfter weeks of using the ZELUS 16 lb weighted vest, I can say with full confidence: this vest doesn’t just add weight — it adds purpose to your training. Whether you’re walking for weight loss, rebuilding endurance, or challenging your strength, this vest meets you where you are and pushes you forward.⚖️ Well-Engineered Balance Makes the DifferenceUnlike bulky, awkward vests I’ve tried in the past, this one is thoughtfully designed. The weight distribution is perfectly balanced, front to back, so there’s no tipping, pulling, or shoulder strain. It feels secure and intentional — every movement feels enhanced, not hindered. This is especially helpful during:• Uphill walking• Squats and lunges• Core work• Modified HIIT exercises🔒 Stays in Place — No Shifting Mid-WorkoutThe adjustable straps and snug, contour-hugging fit make a huge difference. I can do jumping jacks, climb stairs, or even bend into yoga poses without the vest bouncing or riding up. That security lets me focus on my form and breath, not on adjusting the gear.🧵 Built to Last — Sweat-Ready & DurableThe neoprene fabric is breathable, flexible, and durable, which matters when you’re pushing your limits. I’ve worked out with it in humid outdoor weather and during indoor bodyweight sessions — it doesn’t trap heat or stink up. After several sweaty uses, it still looks and smells like new. That’s rare.💡 More Than Just Extra Weight — It Builds IntentionalityOne of the most surprising benefits? Mind-muscle connection. With just 16 lbs added, every step becomes deliberate. It turns a casual walk into conditioning. It transforms squats into a power move. You feel your body working smarter and harder, not just heavier.✅ Final Thoughts:This isn’t just a weighted vest — it’s a versatile fitness upgrade. Whether you’re walking in a weighted vest for fat burn or doing strength training without the gym, the ZELUS 16 lb vest is an excellent choice for real results.🧠 Who It’s Great For:• Beginners building endurance gradually• Busy parents adding resistance to daily movement• Athletes cross-training at home• Women looking to increase core, leg, and glute engagement💯 Would I recommend it? Absolutely.Would I repurchase it? Yes — and I might get a second one just for park workouts. This vest has become part of my weekly rhythm—and that’s what progress looks like.

“Perfect for Walking Workouts – Feel the Burn Instantly”

I’ve been using this weighted vest during my walks, and it’s made a huge difference. I wear it to get a solid burn, and you can definitely feel the extra intensity compared to regular walking. It really helps push the workout to another level without needing to run or do anything too extreme. One thing I really like is how it naturally helps improve my posture. With the added weight, I find myself standing more upright and engaging my core the whole time. It feels like I’m getting more out of every step. It’s comfortable enough to wear for a few miles, stays in place, and doesn’t feel awkward or bulky. If you’re looking to step up your walking routine and burn more calories while improving posture, this is definitely worth it.

Comfortable, durable, convenient. (It’s got a pouch for your phone!)

I got the 12lb vest in September of 2024, so about a year and a half ago, and have worn it for 30 minutes up to two hours on most days. The storage accessory makes it easy to stay consistent because I can put my phone in there and a roll of puppy-pickup bags so it’s like a dog walking assassin kit.In terms of fit, I’m a pretty petite female with broad shoulders and wear it with the chest strap pulled almost all the way closed. There’s some padding beneath the clasp it so it’s still comfortable but a smaller-framed person might need more cinching options or another design.Somebody asked so I’ll say here– This weight took me quite a while to get used to, which I found weird because I’m not unconditioned and 12 pounds didn’t seem like much. The difference, I think, is the consistent demand on your ligaments. My feet and ankles demanded breaks rather than my muscles, and took much longer to recover. They did strenghten over the course of about a year and I was able to move up to 20lbs (this vest plus an 8lb vest for optionality), which is a meaningful weight for me and does engage my muscles for a better workout. The look is fine. I got it in black so it blends in with my black tops. I walk at night so those little reflective strips are putting in the work trying to keep me alive.

    Perfect for burning extra calories

I got the 20 llb vest because I’m a male, 5’8, 275 llbs trying to lose weight through daily calorie deficit and consistently doing cardio at least 3-5x a week. After a workout, I like to go on 2-4 mile walks with the weighted vest which is a game-changer. It’s light enough where I can still walk briskly without feeling overly strained but heavy enough where I need to spend more energy to move resulting in more sweat and calories being burned. I’ve read that studies have shown weighted vest can help you burn 10-15% more calories. Might not sound like much but it definitely adds up over time and I feel the extra burn (in a good way) during my walks. I definitely recommend trying it for anyone who wants to add some extra intensity to their cardio/movement.

Read Before You Buy: Vest Weight = Vest Size

I purchased both the 8 lb and 12 lb versions of these vests and want to save others the frustration I experienced. What the product listing doesn’t make clear is that the weight directly determines the physical size of the vest — these are not the same sized vests with added weight plates.I’m 5’9″ and 130 lbs and I could not get the 8 lb vest on. It was simply too small. My 11-year-old son tried it and could get it on, but it was a little tight on him too. Meanwhile, the 12 lb vest fit me perfectly.I ended up keeping the 12 lb vest even though I wanted to start with less weight, because it was the only one that actually fit me and gave the 8lb vest to my son.The vest itself seems well made, the material feels durable, the reflective strips are a nice touch, and it sits snugly without bouncing during movement. I just wish the sizing information was clearer upfront.
